Archiving Policy

Journal of Medical Informatics and Healthcare Technology (JMIHT) is committed to the long-term preservation of its digital content to ensure that published research remains accessible for future generations. The journal utilizes the LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS (Controlled Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) systems to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries, allowing those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. Additionally, JMIHT encourages authors to self-archive the final published version (Version of Record) of their articles in institutional repositories or personal websites immediately upon publication to maximize visibility and ensure redundant digital preservation.
