Peer Review Policy
Journal of Medical Informatics and Healthcare Technology (JMIHT) implements a rigorous Single-Blind Peer Review process to ensure the scientific quality and integrity of all published research. In this model, the reviewers' identities are kept confidential from the authors, while reviewers have access to the authors' identities and affiliations. This allows reviewers to evaluate the manuscript within the context of the authors' previous research contributions and institutional background while maintaining the independence of the review results.
Each submission initially undergoes a preliminary editorial screening to assess its alignment with the journal’s scope and basic technical requirements. Manuscripts that pass this stage are assigned to at least two independent experts in the relevant field for evaluation. Reviewers assess the work based on its originality, methodological soundness, ethical compliance, and clarity of results. The final decision—whether to accept, request revisions, or reject the manuscript—is made by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewers' recommendations and the manuscript’s overall contribution to the field.
