Peer Review Policy

All manuscripts submitted to the Jurnal Desain Dan Analis Teknologi (JDDT) must adhere to the journal's Focus and Scope and Author Guidelines. Submitted manuscripts must demonstrate scientific merit and novelty consistent with the journal's focus and scope.

All manuscripts submitted to this journal must be written in good Indonesian/English. Authors whose native language is not English are encouraged to review their papers for grammar and clarity before submission. English language and copyediting services can be provided by Science Editing. The work must not have been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

All submitted manuscripts must be free of plagiarism. All authors are encouraged to use plagiarism detection software to perform similarity checks (please use Turnitin or iThenticate for similarity checks). The editor will also check the similarity of manuscripts in this journal using Turnitin or iThenticate software.

Manuscripts submitted to this journal will be reviewed by at least two (2) or more expert reviewers. The reviewers provide valuable scientific comments to improve the manuscript's content. Sometimes (if necessary), a third peer reviewer is required to provide critical comments on submitted manuscripts. The review process used in this journal is Open Peer Review.

The final decision on manuscript acceptance is made solely by the Editor-in-Chief based on the reviewer's critical comments. The final decision on manuscript acceptance is based solely on the Editor's final review, which takes into account the peer reviewer's comments (but not solely the reviewer's).

Publication of accepted articles, including assignment of articles for publication, will be made by the Editor-in-Chief, taking into account the order of receipt, the geographical distribution of authors, and thematic issues.
